the 6th days of 1st work

what happened :

1. since there is no "Event Order", so there is nothing to do, so most of the workers back home at 11am, and the last one back at 1pm, and left over me, so i went to "Canteen Kitchen" to lend them a hand.

2. i maked "Chocolate Eclair" by myself... =)

what i do/learn :

1. i put all the little pieces of cake on "tiny paper cup", but i got no idea why is it so big difference, that those cakes which i put into the paper cup, the paper cup do not hold the cake, and the paper cup can fly away easily. Yet, Priscilla put it in a super fast speed, and the paper cup is holding(protecting) the cake.

2. i cut 112 "Chocolate Eclair puff" (make yesterday), and then pump the "Custard Chocolate Cream" into the Chocolate Eclair Puff, then i dip the puff into Chocolate. Finally, its done, and its cute and looks delicious.

3. how to pull out "fish's inner things" in one go.

4. how to peel Huge Onion in a fast way.

Conclusion :

Everythings seems easy to be done, but when you do it, you will find that its EXTREMELY HARD...

4th and 5th day of my 1st job

10 May 2009 (sunday)

what had happened :

1. suddenly having huge rain in the noon time, so daddy say he will send me to work. But they couldnt go Boulevard,since there are too much people, so they go Imperial for their lunch after church meeting. Then, i waited them until 130pm, and its almost time for work(2pm), yet i still need to change my clothing into working uniform(takes 10-15 minutes).

2. i hurt my hand when i hold the SUPER hot tray , which just took out from the Huge oven

3. cause there is nothing to do, so i was given permission to go home earlier, although i had sms-ed my parents 15 minutes before 9pm, and yet i still waited for another 20 minutes after 9pm, then finally i walk slowly back home. (It tooks me 40 minutes only)

what i did :

1. helping the cakes (80++ cakes) to wear skirt.

2. learn to make Lady's Finger("sugar" bun) for making Tiramitsu cake.

what i learn :

1. Tiramitsu

2. JellyFix , is use to brush on cakes, fruits, decoration, to let it keep shiny and will not dry up.

what i eat (tried) :

1. vegetables (the left over of buffet) (the others eat crab, prawn, and oyster, and others)

2. Lady's Finger (its like "sugar bun" i love this a lot) =)

11 May 2009 (monday)

what happened :

1. i hurt (cut) my hand while i am drying the chocolate mould.

2. i went to the 1st floor kitchen without wearing my cap. =X

3. i went earlier this morning at 9am, (cause i want to work back yesterday's one hour), who knows i work OT(overtime) another hour, cause i want to learn how to display the food on the buffet table.

4. i copied a lot of recipe (without the method).

what i did/learn :

1. Baked Cheese Cake

2. Puff (for making custard puff)

3. display Cakes, Jelly, and Momochacha on the buffet table.

what i tried(eat) :

1. Puff (for making custard puff)

2. Swiss Roll (cake's sponge roll jams)

3rd day of 1st job

in the morning, there are nothing to do at all...just wiping the table, washing the dishes, and do nothing...

in the noon time, i was call to cut fruits for Fruit Fountain... (apple, pineapple, honeydew, peach, papaya)

after that, i stand beside Chief for looking him "playing with chocolate".. (making shape for decoration)

in the afternoon, cut cherries, pump custard cream into puff...

what happened today :

1. stomache for 3 times, went to toilet for big big 3 times... (feeling so ill)

2. the 3 workers went back at 12noon, and left me one people in Pastry Kitchen until 2pm for the other 2 workers...

3. i changed my timetable, so sunday (2pm-10pm) , monday (10am-6pm)

1. wipped cream (huge box white packing) is for the top of cake

2. wipped cream(8) + custard(2) ...for making custard puff

2nd day of 1st job

Due to tirednessssss, i cant work up today on the time that i had set, and there is nothing to eat as breakfast, so i didnt eat before working, then Huge Kak and Tiny Kak lend me some rice, ikan bilis, and tea for breakfast...

2. coffee + milk agar agar

4. squeezing cream in tiny cup (not success, so i stop doing it)

5. rasberry sauce (sugar solution + rasberry jam)

6. cutting fruits (apple, grape, peach, banana)

7. arranging cookies (as i wish, into a serving plate)

8. coconut cheese cake

9....and others...

what i learn today :

1. Royal Cream use for wedding cake / heavy cake

2. Icing sugar need to put in corn flour to prevent sticky

3. (butter + flour + water) use for making "pie's skin", but it must be kept in refrigerator for one night before using, it become soft in room temperature.

4. squeezing cream out from the tube is easy, but making beautiful flowers is not easy...

5. usually use fire "323" -> top , middle, base

6. cover the bread using a paper when the colour is brown, and yet the bread havent cook, to prevent the skin to become darker.

7. cutting banana is not as easy as others fruits...

8. Jelly powder should always mix well together with sugar, so that the jelly will not stick together.

9. and others things...

the 1st day of 1st job in my life

An unforgetable day, since its my 1st day working in my life, yet mummy is wasting my time, and its almost late to reach before 9am.. Then, i written the date wrongly twice on the working and agree form.

5. a BUNCH of history& rules and regulation paper,

Firstly, i was called to HELPING to make bread powder, chilled cheese cake,... (not sure for the others) mango cake?, pandan cake?, japanese cheese cake?, and dunno what else...=.="

some scary experience :

1. i was called to put Chilled Cheese Cake into the chiller (HUGE refrigerator), and i scare i was locked by people in the chiller.

2. the knife drop into the sink, and i'm tring to get it out, but spotted by lou2 sai1, and lou2 sai1 say, " laoban~! knife cannot in sink..."

what i learn :

1. if u want cheese cake melt slowly, then u can add more Gelatin into it (especially cheese cake)

2. knife is not allowed in sink, cause things in sink is full with dirty, so u cannot see clearly where is the knife.

3. Gelatin should heat with water with "double-boiled" ...means the gelatin in a bowl, and let the water boils in another wok, and the bowl put on the water, to let it boil.

4. Egg white will not turn into "cream", if there is any little water humidity/water droplet.

5. how to install the mixing bowl and how to operate the mixing speed.

6. ..and others? not really remember all of them...

every cristicism of people is what people really do not like it, and yet goverment always give us chances to make report and cristicism, yet " They turned a deaf ear to other people's criticisms." And this is Malaysia's people's attitude~!!!

they usually take those criticism as superficial criticism(不痛不痒的批评 ), this is because difference races having difference "life" and "helping" from the government. Most of the time, we can see the governmet is trying to make Malaysia's races to love each other, and blend together, to have a better life.

Yet, chinese races who get better results than bumiputra, have no chance to get in Matriculasion, only Chinese student who achieved straight A1 is able to involved in Matriculasion.

And then, student without getting a C for their Bahasa Melayu is not allowed to get in Form 6.

BUT, don you think that Bahasa Melayu is an un-famous subject?

English is the only International Language, yet Malaysia Government forces malaysian to study Bahasa Melayu, and must received a C for further study.

What if the standard of Chinese Language is putting at the same floor as the Bahasa Melayu, and we are going to see most non-chinese is going to fail their Chinese, and cannot continue their studies...

When people ask for help, they will say : " try to go to the Jabatan Pendidikan(Head Office) there."

when people reach there, they will say : " try to go back there(Jabatan Peperiksaan) for asking there."

nervous; horror dream, 1st job

hmmm...pressure of studying + working + health + ....leads me towards horror dream for 2 days...
Yesterday, was waked up by Jasmine's sms, and today was waked up by Beverly's sms...

hehek...

but...what she said, make me nervous...

2nd Interview in Imperial Hotel

yesterday, i received a call around 4pm from Miss Melisa, calling me to go for an interview on today, after 5pm...

so today i went to imperial mall at 5:00++pm..
i received a call once again 5:10pm from Miss Melisa, i was driving at that time and due to talking phone, so i drive to the wrong way, and it leads me to the another huge round...
and due to the "rushing call", i become nervous, and could not really decide which way should i take.
Finally, i reach there on the time (5 minutes) which i had promised in the phone.
...i took 1 minute to the security, and then took another 5 minutes to reach the office...
and waited for the Miss Rebecca for around 55 minutes.
She inteview me, around 20 minutes, with a super cute smiling face, and finally its time to go home again. Since, she said :"give me 1 day to think."

learn how to defferenciate the materials, food, and others...

learn to makes friends, without any introducing....

learn from working... =P

making a shoes rack

mood comes suddenly, so i prepared somethings...

ingredians:

1. 1 pencil
2. some woods
3. 1 metal ruler
4. 1 saw
5. 24 nails
6. 1 hammer
7. 2 chairs
8. 1 little stool
9. 1 heavy duty penknife
10. a little bit celephone tape
11. few pairs of shoes

method:

1. use the metal ruler to measure shoes, for an average length (sitting on stool)

2. measure the wood, draw line on it using pencil

3. put the woods on the 2 chairs, and saw it

4. for special situation, use penknife to cut the wood

5. connect those woods by nails using hammer

5. if the woods broken, then use celephone tape to tape it, and re-nail it

6. TaDaa~ now the shoes rack is done~!

sorry to tell you that, i am not going to post the picture larhx.. my shoes rack looks like book shelf, even huge wind blow, it will drop down.. xD

Attention :

please draw a picture ,prepare a scheadule before doing it, orelse you might hurt your finger while hammering, cut yourself while sawing, step on the nails

its nice to decorate your house using home made shoes rack, table, chairs...

i had made a table, and now a shoes rack ^^

my 1st interview

set my alarm on 6:45am, but due to tiredness, so i sleep until 7:00am...
then i had a little cup of 4 in 1 breakfast...
and prepare to go for interview...

i reach there on 8:00am...
waited 25 minutes, and the i go up for the clerk to fill in forms...
filling a form takes me 20 minutes...
then its 8:40am and its time to back home...
to wait for their call...
